Addingham Honey

Addingham Honey is a Yorkshire beekeeper with hives in Addingham, Guiseley and Baildon. After a house move, the business is now based in Addingham, having previously traded as Baildon Blossom Honey. Same bees, same honey, and the Baildon and Guiseley hives are still going. Nothing about the jar has changed except the name on the label.

Keeping hives in different places makes a difference. Bees forage on whatever’s growing near their hives, so the mixed blossom honey carries a little of each spot in it. It’s simply filtered, nothing else, which means you get a honey that tastes of this corner of West Yorkshire and changes a touch with the seasons. If you’re looking for Addingham honey, or local honey from Guiseley and Baildon, this is where to find it.

Then there’s the heather honey from Barden Moor. Heather honey is a different thing altogether. It’s darker and thicker than a blossom honey, with a strong flavour that people tend to remember. Moorland heather flowers late in the summer, so this one arrives later in the year than the blossom honey. Nothing is done to it except filtering out the wax.

Whether you knew the business as Baildon Blossom Honey or you’ve only just found it, you’re very welcome. Take a look at the Facebook page for the latest: Visit our Website.
