Description
Andrew Hancock, better known as Andy the Beekeeper, is a Yorkshire beekeeper making honey from the village of Meltonby in East Yorkshire. Meltonby Honey is his way of sharing what the hives give him, and the range is wider than most people expect. There’s single-origin honey that reflects the character of each harvest, so no two seasons taste quite the same. There’s cut comb honey, traditional English sections and beautifully formed Ross Rounds for anyone who likes their honey the old way. The bees also give Andy beeswax, which he turns into natural candles with a warm colour and a gentle, honeyed aroma. Every hive has a story and every harvest is a little different, and Andy takes real pride in sharing the results with fellow honey lovers. If you’re after local honey in Meltonby or the wider East Yorkshire countryside, he’s a good person to start with. You can message him on WhatsApp or browse the full range online.
