JC’s Honey and Bees

JC’s Honey and Bees is run by a Yorkshire beekeeper with two hives in Huddersfield, and if you’re looking for local honey Huddersfield can call its own, this is a good place to start. It’s a small hobby venture, but a genuine passion. Our honey is made in small batches by our own bees, so each jar reflects the flowers and forage around Huddersfield that season. The bees come first. Their health and wellbeing shape everything we do. We’re also interested in selective breeding, aiming for locally adapted bees suited to Yorkshire conditions. We look for calm temperament, good health, strong overwintering and a decent harvest, with the hope of colonies that thrive in our own corner of the county. From our hives to your home, every jar is harvested and packed with care. Buying from a small local beekeeper helps look after the bees and the pollination work they do for the community. Local bees, local honey, a little taste of Huddersfield.
